Nearly two weeks now since Public Basic Schools in the country officially resumed. Meanwhile, teachers and students of Wassa Agave D/A Basic School in the Wassa East district of western region were smashed with splashes and paints of human faces on the students desks and the floors in class two room.
The Headteacher of the school, Mr. Oscar Kyei-Donkor recounted that, it is usual routine to undertake cleanup exercise in the school to keep the school environment clean and healthy on the first day from vacation before teaching and learning takes off.
In the course of the cleanup exercise, they found in the class two room that the entire classroom is messed up with human excretion.
The Chief of Wassa Agave, Togbe Agya Atta III, described those who use classrooms as place of defecation as witches and wizards.
DKMNEWS.NET spoke with the PTA chairman of Agave D/A Basic School, Mr. Francis Adjololo who disclosed that, this is the third time such disparaging occurrence has happened in the school.
