Residents of Kotokrom Bredi in the Sunyani municipality of the Bono region are homeless after a heavy downpour in the area during this weekend.
A numerous number of residents in the area were forced to seek shelter from neighbors following the downpour that displays affected residents homeless.
A visit by DKMNEWS.NET to the affected community discount the possibility of lost of human lives during the flooding which are now stagnant water in the area.
Hon. Dramani Mahama the assembly man of Kotokrom electoral area accuse the assembly town planners of being the cause of the flooding due to their bad supervision and selling of lands reserve to serve as drain to divert gushing water to individuals during dry season to build on it.
He then appealed to government to come to their aid of the affected victims in the community.
Some of the residents who were also forced out thier homes by the floods bemoaned that most of their properties have been affected not leaving those with needful documents in their homes.
They then also appealed to NADMO for at least a tent for them to place thier heads under and the assembly for a swift attention on them.
