GUTA and it’s members embark on a two day strike against the dollar rate which was affecting their businesses.

But they’ve re-open their shops Wednesday per IGP intervention , and hoping for government to handle the dollar rate for them.

Speaking to some traders, we close our shop starting from the day they said we should close our shops , but we resumed work yesterday per IGP Dampare intervention.

Some traders said the dollar rate has affected their businesses effectively and it’s not helping them at all .

We are pleading on President and his government to take a critical look at the way the dollar rate is running of late .

Some traders said they’ve not been able to increase their old products but when the old one finishes and they go in for new ones they’ll probably increase the prices too per the current state of the dollar.
