Nana Fanyinama 3rd, Wangara Chief of Kintampo in the Bono East Region who is also the Leader of Wangara Community Worldwide is drawing the attention of Ghanaian Authorities to an ongoing phenomenon where some of His People who were born and breaded on the soils of Our Land are denied Citizenship or Ghana Card saying “it’s very unfair and discriminately”.

According to Nana Fanyinama who doubles as the Vice President of National Council of Zongo Chiefs in Ghana, “most Wangaras have lived here since the Colonial Era when the West African Frontier Forces was formed in the 1850s to fight for independence and are never relocating to anywhere outside Ghana therefore why should they not be registered and given Ghana Card”, he questioned?

He made this disclosure in an interview with DKMNEWS.NET when he led a delegation of 26 Chiefs from Kintampo Zongo Community to pay a courtesy call on Hon. Kwasi Adu-Gyan the Bono East Regional Minister in the capital Techiman.
