Anas Aremeyaw Anas an investigative journalist, declined in revealing his true identity to Kwesi Nyantakyi and his lawyers in Chamber, in a case to testify against Nyantakyi the former president of (GFA )Ghana Football Association.
On Wednesday May 17,2023, the high court Accra ordered Anas Aremeyaw to testify in open court in the trial of the former president of (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi.
But however,the court, presided by Justice Marie Louise Simmons would allow Anas to testify in his disguise.Justice Simmons gave the ruling following an application by persecution for Anas to testify in camera, to which was gingerly opposed by the lawyers of Kwesi Nyantakyi and urged the court to make Anas testify showing his face to the open court.
Justice Simmons in her ruling granted the application in part an held that Anas has been seen in public on several occasions wearing his bead so therefore the was nothing with testifying in public with his said beads of a mask on.
