Positions of a textbook supposedly under Ghana’s new curriculum has caused an uproar among parents and stakeholders over its take on Christianity.

The Primary 4 book ‘History of Ghana for Basic Schools’ highlights some ‘negative effects of Christian missionary activities.

Francis Benjamin Appiah and Henry David Appiah the Authors of the new curriculum history book made mention in the book some negative effects of Christian missionary activities in the book.

Parents are worried as this might corrupt the minds of the young ones and probably the next generation concerning Christianity and it’s believes, also the Christian community are  offended as to how audacious the government could be to publish such falsified information about Christians in a history book defaming the Christian missionaries and the Christian community as a whole
