Professor Elsie Effah Kaufmann the National Maths and Science Quiz (NMSQ) mistress has revealed that as a married woman, she hoped that her marriage would be a forever thing but unfortunately for her things didn’t go as planned.
And as time went by, she finally moved on and no longer felt like a failure for not keeping her marriage.

Prof Kaufmann further advised young ladies going into marriage to be extremely cautious.

According to her;

“human beings are not static. Before you marry someone, make sure you know the person very well. People grow, people change and these can affect your relationship in diverse ways. Make sure you are prepared for each process because it’s not easy.

Kaufmann was a research supervisor at the Department of Chemistry at Rutgers University in New Jersey, United States of America, from May 1998 to June 2001; after being a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, United States of America.
