Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has just completed her Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon by an individual. She sang for over 126 hours, surpassing the previous record of 105 hours set by Sunil Waghmare from India.

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum sang for an unofficial total of 126 hours, 52 minutes, and a few seconds, which is 21 hours more than Sunil Waghmare’s record in 2012. She really went above and beyond to set a new milestone. It must have taken so much determination and endurance.

Sunil Waghmare, a well-known singer, received recognition from his city for achieving the Guinness World Record for the longest singing. It’s amazing that he started singing at such a young age, just 14 years old. Even though he only took 3 basic music classes, his guru, Bhaskarrao Moroney, taught him everything he needed to know, and he never stopped improving. It’s truly inspiring to see someone follow their passion and achieve such a remarkable feat.

Afua Asantewaa broke her own record with an impressive 126 hours of singing. The final time might be adjusted due to factors like time delays. She had a short 20-minute break every four hours and delivered over 1000 songs. Ghanaians showed their support by cheering her on and even staying overnight.
