Danita Akosua Adomaah, also known as Afronitaaa, has made Ghana proud with her dance school. She recently appealed to the government for support, highlighting the importance of investing in the arts and nurturing young talent.
Afronitaaa and her protégé Abigail showcased Ghana’s vibrant dance scene on a global stage with their thrilling performance at Britain’s Got Talent. Their energetic routine earned them a standing ovation from the judges and the audience.
During an interview with Citi TV, Afronitaaa expressed her strong passion for government investment in her dance school.
‘’Anyway the government can support me I would be grateful … I just started my dance school, for kids, so if the government can support me so I can train street kids who can’t afford my dance school,” She said
The Minister-designate for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr. Andrews Egyapa Mercer, had the pleasure of hosting Afronitaaa at his office on Friday, May 10. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to connect, exchange pleasantries, and get to know each other better.
The presence of Afronitaaa’s parents and other esteemed personalities, such as Deputy Minister of Creative Arts, Mark Okraku Mantey, made the meeting even more special.
