King Promise is feeling confident about winning the Artiste of the Year award at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards. In a recent interview on New Day, he expressed his belief that his team has created incredible works not just for the past year, but also in previous years.

King Promise acknowledges the talent of his competitors in the Artiste of the Year category, but he strongly believes that he deserves to win. He confidently emphasizes his own accomplishments and contributions to the music industry.
“I feel like everybody who is in there is a worthy competitor, respect for everybody but I feel like my works speaks for itself. Everyone can tell that we have really been putting in a lot of work…I am here to contribute my quota and gladly accept the Artiste of the Year at all cost,” he said
King Promise is not only confident in his own abilities but also appreciates the growth of Ghana’s music industry. It’s great that the Ghana Music Awards recognizes and celebrates the hard work of musicians every year. I’m sure the TGMA awards night on June 1, 2024, at the AICC will be a fantastic event filled with amazing performances and well-deserved recognition.

King Promise has received three nominations for this year’s TGMA: Artiste of the Year, International Collaboration of the Year, and Most Popular Song of the Year. Popular music producer and sound engineer, KillBeatz, believes that King Promise is the top contender for the Artiste of the Year award at the 2024 TGMA.
“This is what we’ve been waiting for! To take Ghanaian music and African music to another level. And I’m so proud of King Promise. There is nobody else. He has to win it! If somebody else wins that award, I don’t know what they’re trying to say,” he said in an interview with Joy FM.
