“At this point, everyone has seen the video circulating online,” the “Power Book II: Ghost” actor, 23, wrote on his Instagram Stories Monday.

“I am still in shock and don’t fully know how to process what happened last night. This is an unfortunate situation that I do not condone in any way.”

Micheal Rainey Jr. emphasized the seriousness of the incident, highlighting that sexual assault is never acceptable, regardless of gender or status, and stressed the importance of respecting each other as human beings.

Rainey’s statement follows a video showing him allegedly being groped by James’ sister during a livestream. In the clip, James and Rainey were in a small room with others for the stream. James’ sister, Jahgee, was seen behaving inappropriately towards Rainey, who appeared surprised by the incident.

After the alleged groping incident, Rainey and his friends abruptly left the streamer’s home. James initially tried to excuse Jahgee’s behavior, mentioning she wasn’t used to being “around celebrities” like he was.

The streamer later criticized his sister’s actions and apologized to Rainey for what happened. “After the actions that occurred during my stream last night I would like to sincerely apologize to Michael and his family for what took place,” he wrote on X Monday.
