Victoria Beckham Honors Son Brooklyn in Emotional Speech at Netflix Documentary Premiere
Brooklyn Beckham – Victoria Beckham Netflix documentary – Victoria Beckham continues to show love to her son Brooklyn Beckham, despite their family’s alleged ongoing rift.
While addressing the audience at the world premiere of her Netflix docuseries, Victoria Beckham, at The Curzon Mayfair in London on Wednesday, Oct. 8, the former Spice Girl and fashion designer, 51, made sure to include her eldest in a heartfelt speech.
“My children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper — and David — oh my God, he’s not a child! I was doing so well without cards as well!” she joked.

“You know, it’s it’s taken me this process to really be proud of what I’ve achieved and to realize finally that I am enough,” she continued.
Victoria went on to thank her husband, David Beckham, “for convincing me and then forcing me, giving me no choice,” and called the process of working on a docuseries “a very emotional experience” that’s been comparable to “a year’s intense therapy.”
Three of the couple’s four children were in attendance — Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper Beckham, 14.
Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham have been noticeably absent from family gatherings as of late, not limited to his father’s 50th birthday celebration in May, despite receiving an invite, an insider told PEOPLE at the time.
“There are tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and the family,” the source said, adding, “The relationship is definitely not beyond repair. They love and are always there for him. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life.”
The following month, the Cloud23 hot sauce CEO shared a social media tribute for his father-in-law Nelson Peltz’s 83rd birthday, with a photo of himself, his wife, 30, and her dad.
However, last month, Victoria opened up about their family dynamic, again sharing her devotion to her brood.

“That’s what the Beckhams do. We like to have fun. We like to spend time all together,” the “Spice Up Your Life” singer told Elle for a cover story published on Sept. 18, where she shared that her upcoming documentary would show fans a non-“rehearsed” side of her.
“We’re a very traditional family, much more than I think people would realize,” Victoria added.
The fashion designer, who recently showed her latest line at Paris Fashion Week, reacted to Elle‘s commentary about how the publication’s staff “used to love seeing” her four kids, along with her sports star husband, sit front row at her London Fashion Week shows.
“That’s what we do. We all support each other,” Victoria replied, adding, “We always show up for each other.”
Victoria Beckham is on Netflix Oct. 9.
