The Kintampo Yam Market which serves as one of the biggest yam markets in Ghana is in a deplorable state.
Market women who spoke to DKMNEWS.NET indicated that when it rains the market place always floods which doesn’t help them.
According to some market women stated due to the poor nature and condition of the market place leads to yam rotting all the time which always cost them a lot.
“But all the time they gives us pay a chunk of revenue to the government but authorities do not pay attention to their plight.
They are pleading the government, local authorities and all concerned citizens to aid them fix the problem.
