FAMILY 21 YEAR OLD YOUNG GIRL CHARGE GH5000 BY TRADITIONAL COUNCIL FOR ALLEGED MISSING OF THEIR DAUGHTER.

Unique Boateng 21 , a k.a Maame U, daughter of Pastor Thomas Boateng of Community Church International, who got missing at sefwi Wiawso Dwenase in the western north region about a week ago making news headlines has returned home safely.

The family was summoned before the Sefwi Wiawso traditional council to elucidate on how their daughter was found.

Mother of the victim , Madam Abena Yeboah said about a week ago that, their daughter left the house at dawn at about 4am with wearing of nightwear to attend toilet but didn’t return suspecting that, she has been kidnapped and through the help of the tradition leaders and publications, she has been found.

According to mother, the daughter left the house with the reason that, she has been stayed at Sefwi for long and wanted to travel to Abuakwa in the Ashanti region while the parents always disallowed her.

At the presence of the Wiawso traditional council, Madam Abena Yeboah and husband together with the church members pleaded for forgiveness and stated emphatically that her daughter hasn’t been kidnapped or killed by the people of Sefwi.

The family were charged with five thousand ghana cedis GH5000 cash, one live sheep and castle bridge drink to cleanse the ancestors.

Speaking to DKMNEWS.NET, Nana Yaw Bekoe, chief linguist to Katakyie Kwasi Bumagama, Sefwi Wiawso paramount chief said, the reason why the pastor and the wife was called to the palace to perform rituals because, they allowed people to invade into the ancestor’s forest ‘Ahumeley’ in searching of their daughter with the mindset that she has been kidnapped which is false and a disgrace to the Sefwi Wiawso traditional council.

Chief Linguist Nana Yaw Bekoe lastly stated they are disappointed in the parents of unique Boateng for not announcing to the general public after their daughter returned home.
