There’s a 39-year-old lady from Medellin, Colombia who already has 19 children and is expecting her 20th. It’s surprising that all of her children have different fathers. She plans to keep having children even if she doesn’t know who the father is. She receives financial support from the government for each child.
People are surprised that she’s so young and already has so many kids, but what’s really catching attention is that each child has a different father.
“I see being a mom like a business, practically,”Martha, who has conceived all of her kids with different men is quoted as saying.
However, Martha says because she has a lot of kids children, the money she gets from the government barely covers the cost of raising and caring for them.
“The truth is, as the government helps me for each child, I receive a little money for each one,”she explained.
Martha receives financial support from the Colombian state for her children. She gets around $76 for her eldest children and about $30.50 for the younger ones. Additionally, she receives assistance from the local church and her neighbors. Martha plans to continue having children until her body no longer allows it, as her current children will eventually grow up and leave home.
