The native Youths of Adansi Apagya in the Adansi South District of the Ashanti Region has given two weeks ultumatum to the government of Ghana especially the Predident Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, Education Minister, Hon.Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum, Regional Minister, Hon.Simon Osei Mensah,the DCE of the Adansi South Hon.Francis Kwabena Ankomah and the Member of Parliament for New Edubiase constituency Hon. Adams Abdul Salam to come and open Apagya community day school for them so that their wards can attend school.
According to them, Fmr. President John Dramani Mahama constructed one of his community day school in Adansi Apagya during his term in 2016 , but he didn’t completed it before living in office but the current government has abandon it in the bush to rotten and the entire youths of Apagya are not happy with it at all.
Again, last month the Ashanti Regional minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah sent some of his team members to Adansi Apagya to supervised the building so that they can post some of the upcoming form one student to Adansi Apagya community day school and they also did it as the Regional minister’s representatives said to them.
But yet still it yields no results.
Therefore the youths stated they are sick and tired of the empty promises.
So therefore we are giving the DCE of the Adansi South and the Member of Parliament to ensure the school is open else we will demonstrate against them massively.
