AG Domelovo mocks Akuffo Addo in a song

Mr Daniel yaw Domelovo popularly known as AG Domelovo a Ghanaian accountant who currently serves as a Board member of the Global Fund and the former Auditor-General of Ghana. Who was appointed by John Dramani Mahama.

Is seen in a video tweet on Twitter singing a mocking song to the current president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo in his local dialect ( ewe) in a mockery.

On Wednesday May 31, 2023 the Supreme Court declared as unconstitutional the directive from the presidency that forced the former Auditor General Daniel yaw Domelovo to proceed on a leave.

This ruling was instigated after some society groups sued the Attorney General after the presidency in 2020 asked the then Auditor Daniel Domelovo to proceed on an accumulated leave.

According to sources, when Mr Domelovo stated this out us unlawful his leave was extended from 123 days to 167 effectively on July 1, 2020.

Some CSOs included the Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), Citizen Movement Ghana, Africa Center for Energy Policy (ACEP) , Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) and Parliamentary Network.

To which the case was by Justice Nene Amegatcher, Prof.Ahsie kotey, Mariama Owusu, Lovelace Johnson, Gertrude Torkornoo, Prof. Henrietta Mensah Bonsu and Emmanuel Kulendi.
