The Perez chapel international founder Archbishop Charles Agyinasre declares a week fast and prayer session for all members in retrospective to the invitation of the traditional rulers of Nogokpo a town situated in the Volta Region of Ghana.

Opinion leader Nufialaga Mawufemor Korbla Nonyigbey on Friday, June 2 accused Archbishop Agyinasare of showing no remorse in his second sermon after describing the town as the headquarters of demons in the Volta Region.

The man of God had apparently apologised to the chiefs and people of Nogokpo after they raised concerns about his reference to the town, insisting that he did not intend “to denigrate any of the towns and their people but to elucidate the principle of divine protection to congregants”.

“Any misrepresentation or misinformation that has characterised the subsequent commentary and reportage is regretted,” he said on Sunday, May 28.

“My Ministry over the past 40 years has been one that has spoken up at critical times in our Nation as a spiritual gatekeeper and I remain committed to serving God’s people and our Nation as the spirit directs.”

The apology does little to appease them as they demand he reports to their traditional court to deal with the situation at hand. Which has currently caused the need for a fast and a prayer as the battle at hand isn’t one of the physical as Archbishop initiates a week of prayer and fast session.
