Judge Kathleen Delaney chose to keep him on probation for up to three years with a suspended prison sentence of two to five years. Additionally, he received a 30-day jail sentence in Nevada, but he was given credit for the time he spent in a California jail.

“This was a first technical violation with only temporary revocation available for a maximum of 30 days,” the court ruled. Blueface remains in custody in a California jail for violating his probation in a Los Angeles County assault case. He was arrested for a probation violation in the assault case in January. A California judge is scheduled to sentence him on July 29.

Judge Delaney issued a bench warrant for Blueface in February due to alleged probation violation related to an altercation in Utah in December 2023. Blueface, also known as Johnathan Porter, brought a woman on stage during a Salt Lake City show and instructed Jaidyn Alexis, the mother of his children, to assault her. The 27-year-old rapper was placed on probation for a 2022 shooting outside a Las Vegas strip club after accepting a plea deal in 2023. Kentabius Traylor, the shooting victim, expressed frustration over the lenient sentence.

“I know people who get more time for stealing bubblegum, honestly,” he said. “I know people who do more time for stealing TVs than they do for shooting somebody. I’m just completely disappointed in all of this.” Prosecutors initially accused Blueface of attempted murder but later reduced the charges. He ended up pleading guilty to battery and firing a gun at or into an occupied structure. The strip club’s owner sued Blueface, claiming the shooting led to the club losing its license, resulting in a $13 million damages order against him.
