Boosie Badazz spent almost a week locked up following his arrest on federal gun charges in June last year. He is now celebrating a significant legal win after finding out he is cleared of the charges that led to his imprisonment last year.
In June 2023, the Baton Rouge native was locked up for the second time in as many months. He was eventually released on a $100,000 bond after spending several days in jail. On Monday (June 24), a year and a day after he was placed on bond, Boosie revealed his case had ended. He celebrated with a special announcement before tossing his ankle monitor into his swimming pool.
In a recent pool party video, Boosie stood on a rock and shared his good news. “My P.O. say the charges terminated,” he announced, causing cheers from his guests. He then threw his ankle monitor into the pool and jumped in after it as the cheers continued.
Back in May 2023, San Diego police arrested Boosie after a traffic stop and charged him with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Though the case was dropped weeks later, Federal agents apprehended Boosie right after. The feds also charged him with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Prosecutors claimed he was a flight risk and shouldn’t be granted bond. However, the judge disagreed, and Boosie was given bail on June 23, 2023.
