The incident that happened in Salaga at Raafi Angulu, in the late hours of yesterday which resulted in the dead of a 73 year old man.
Per report gathered by DKMNEWS.NET revealed it was a misunderstanding that erupted as a result of a claimed ownership of a fowl, which ended in a supposed murder of one Mr. Adam Mahama
The incident, which started between two families over the legitimate ownership of a fowl, saw the groups brandish guns, cutlass and knifes.
One Mr Adam Mahama who is said to have returned from farm and getting ready for his evening meal, sought to be a peace keeper by separating the fuming groups.
His attempt to seek peace by separating the fighting groups unfortunately resulted in one of them stabbing him, which subsequently resulted in his death.
His death angered the youth around that area who decided to set ablaze the house and property of the supposed thugs
Information gathered shows that animals belonging to that family were killed in cold blood with others allowed to be burned in the blazing fire.
Per DKMNEWS.NET reports indicates the suspect are on the run.
The police have however refused to comment on the issue but investigations ongoing by police into the matter and hoping for information and evidence that will help their course
