Bryce Harper’s Family: Inside His Life with Wife Kayla and Their 3 Kids — Plus Baby No. 4 News!

Bryce Harper – Bryce Harper kids – Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper is one of the MLB’s most recognizable figures, but Harper’s most important job is off the field as a dad to three children — Krew, Brooklyn and Kamryn.

Harper and his wife, Kayla, welcomed their first child in 2019, followed by their second a year later. Harper and Kayla’s third kid arrived in 2024.

“[My kids are] the light of my life, man. They make me happy every day. They thrill me every day,” Harper said during a 2023 ESPN broadcast. “People don’t understand, you know, you get taken away from them a lot. Knowing professional sports, you’re always on the road, always traveling. You miss their first steps, you miss the way they talk. I’m missing them right now.”

In April 2025, Harper revealed that his family is expanding again. During a home game against the San Francisco Giants, he announced he and Kayla are expecting a baby boy, using a custom baby-blue bat for the reveal.

With the crowd watching, Harper took the bat from teammate Trea Turner, stepped into the box, and unveiled the big news with one powerful swing.

Here’s everything to know about Bryce Harper’s three kids: Krew, Brooklyn and Kamryn.

Krew Aron Harper, 6

Bryce and Kayla welcomed their first child, Krew Aron, on Aug. 22, 2019. He shares his middle name with his dad.

To celebrate Krew’s first birthday, the Harpers threw a festive The Incredibles-themed party, complete with capes and superhero decorations. Alongside a sweet photo of Krew in costume, Bryce reflected that he loves Krew “more and more each day.”

“The one thing I will miss about year 1 looking back and what he has kinda out grown already is the cuddles,” he wrote. “I miss that the most. I still get it sometimes, but I wish it was more. Year 1 was filled with so much, and I look forward to so so many more. We love you so much little dude!”

Krew is already showing signs of following in his dad’s footsteps: In one video at the ballpark, Krew confidently smacked a baseball off a tee and sent it flying into the stands. As his parents cheered him on from the background, Bryce shouted, “That’s a homer, dude! Go!”

Krew can also frequently be seen attending Harper family outings, including September 2024 trips to the zoo and the pumpkin patch.

Brooklyn Elizabeth Harper, 5

Harper and his wife Kayla expanded their family with the arrival of their daughter, Brooklyn Elizabeth, in November 2020.

The couple shared the happy news on Instagram, posting a cozy snapshot of their first moments together. Brooklyn’s birth came just over a year after the Harpers welcomed their first child, son Krew.

“Evening things out this year with Baby Girl Harper,” Kayla wrote in her pregnancy announcement earlier that summer.

In a December 2024 Instagram post showing off Brooklyn’s unicorn-themed birthday party, Kayla shouted out her older daughter’s spirited personality.

“Celebrated our 4 year old snack queen a couple of weeks ago 🦄✨,” she wrote. “Brooklyn has the sass that could take out an army and a heart that could heal the world. We love you, sis!”

Brooklyn is particularly outdoorsy, developing a love of fishing and hiking with her older brother, according to Kayla’s Instagrams.

But “slow days with daddy” are her favorite, as Kayla has said. In a May post, Harper can be seen pushing Brooklyn on a backyard swing.

“a moment for Brooklyn and her red dress she refuses to take off ❤️,” Kayla wrote.

Kamryn Ray Harper, 1

On April 22, 2024, Bryce and Kayla’s family grew once again with the arrival of their third child, daughter Kamryn Ray.

“Slice of Heaven🌸,” the couple wrote alongside a photo of Kamryn sleeping in a basket.

Three days later, Harper played his first game since paternity leave and hit a two-run home run. It wasn’t the first time that happened to Harper: Four days after Kayla gave birth to Krew in August 2019, Harper hit a home run in his first game back, per the MLB.

The youngest member of the Harper family has already been introduced to the baseball world. When the Phillies officially clinched their first NL East title in 13 years in September 2024, Bryce lifted Kamryn into the air and showered her with kisses, per footage from the celebration posted by Kayla.

Kamryn also watched her first football and hockey games when the family visited Ohio State University, her mom’s alma mater, in October 2024.

“finally got to bring my little buckeyes to one of my favorite places in the whole world,” Kayla wrote alongside an Instagram post of the trip. “It was so special seeing them run around a campus that I love so much. Ohio forever 🫶.”

In 2025, Kamryn joined the family at the Phillies spring training, where she started walking, per her mom.
