The Minister of Road and Highways, Kwasi Amoako Attah says road users should change their attitude this festive season to eliminate, reduce or minimize road carnages.

Most fatal accidents are recorded on good roads constructed by the government through the Ministry of Roads and Highways, he disclosed.

Speaking at a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols organised by the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation in collaboration with the Ministry of Roads and Highways at the Tarmac of the Ghana Highways Authority in Accra, the Sector Minister said drivers should not turn roads into death traps.

He urged road users to respect each other and observe the regulations to avoid fatalities.

“Ghana’s developmental success is a collective effort and all of us as citizens are expected to do our parts to uphold the nation’s progress, especially concerning keeping our road from all abnormalities”, the Roads Minister.
