Elijah Blue Allman Arrested in New Hampshire for Burglary and Criminal Mischief After Alleged Home Break-In

Allman was arrested on Sunday, March 1 in Windham, N.H. after police responded to a report of a residential break-in involving forced entry, according to a press release obtained by PEOPLE.
When officers arrived at the scene, Allman, 49, was “taken into custody without incident,” according to the release, and he was charged with burglary, two counts of criminal mischief and breach of bail.
Allman was arraigned on Monday, March 2 at the Salem District Court and was ordered held on preventive detention, per the release,
According to local news outlet Patch, police were sent to the home around 9:45 a.m. for a report of an unknown man breaking in from the back door. The suspect used loppers, usually used for tree trimming, to break a window while the caller reportedly hid in a closet during the burglary, the outlet said.
After police entered the home, they identified the burglary suspect as Allman. He was reportedly found seated on the living room couch smoking a cigarette. He was then arrested and held, the outlet reported.

Patch also reported that nothing appeared to be missing from the house. However, according to a police report obtained by the outlet, Allman dropped a lit cigarette on a rug inside the home and caused a burn, resulting in about $1,000 worth of damages. In addition, the damage done to the door was estimated to be about $1,700, making it a felony charge.
Allman’s arrest in Windham happened only days after he was arrested in the nearby city of Concord. Allman was taken into custody on Friday, Feb. 27 after he allegedly caused a disturbance at an elite prep school, the Concord Police Department (CPD) confirmed to PEOPLE.
Authorities responded to St. Paul’s School in Concord at around 6 p.m. local time for the report to a of an unwanted guest, local outlet WMUR reported. The suspect, which was later identified as Allman, allegedly caused a disturbance and acted belligerently in the dining hall, the outlet said.
Police told PEOPLE he was detained and charged with two counts of simple assault, criminal trespassing, criminal threatening and disorderly conduct.
He was then taken to Merrimack County Jail and released on personal recognizance bail, an agreement in which he doesn’t have to pay any bail and promises to appear at future court dates, according to WMUR.

Months before Allman was arrested, he was rushed to a medical facility in California, when he was “acting erratically,” the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBCSD) told PEOPLE in June 2025. He was released from the facility a few days after.
At the time, police alleged they “located drugs inside the home” where Allman was found, and he was then “transported to the hospital.”
A source told PEOPLE Cher, 79, who welcomed Allman with the late rock musician Gregg Allman in 1976, was focused on helping her son heal. Prior to the incident last June, she filed for a temporary conservatorship over her son’s estate in December 2023, due to Allman’s alleged substance abuse and declining mental health. They reached a private agreement and Cher voluntarily dismissed her petition for conservatorship in September 2024.
