Residents and food vendors in Manso Adubea in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region blames government over the the economy hardship making life thougher for them.
DKMNEW S.NET interaction with some food vendors they stated, they are pleading with the Government to as a matter of urgency turn things around to save their business if not the economic hardship will collapse their business.
“We are asking the government to reduce the high cost of living, especially rice , cooking oil , because we can’t afford to purchase them anymore” according to some food vendors.
According to them, some of Kumasi Traders are holding on for an increment in some food items before the sell them, ie cooking oil , rice and some food ingredients which is making the standard living unbearable for the as food vendors.
According to some residents said although the economy is hard alright , but some traders has intentionally increased the prices of their products .
They’re pleading government and their District Authorities to deal with those culprit who intentionally increases the prices of their products without the authorities of government as they did to some traders in Kumasi.
