Galamsey miners trapped underneath the earth, seven death recorded while 17 are still alive and trapped under the debris,
They were reported to have been working when the small mining scale pit in which they were working curved in on them in the Birim North District of Eastern region.
And currently 17 remains under the debris, local folks have stepped in, employing every available aid to support rescue the remaining 17.
In a report an Adom news correspondent Akwasi Dwamena stated that two of the trapped miners has been successfully retrieved , sustaining injuries from their misfortune, while the 7 deceased miners were openly displayed and their remains covered with bushes.
