The outgoing minister for Trade and Industry, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng has said that Ghana is serious in becoming the automotive hub in West Africa.
He is positive that Ghana is capable of becoming the hub for the automotive industry due to the government’s political commitment and vision.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Ghana Automobile Development Council, Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng underscored that government has put in place standards and better regulatory policies to ensure the growth of the automotive industry in Ghana.
Thus the country have recently seen the establishment of various automotive companies.
He therefore revealed that the government have also put in place a comprehensive Vehicle Financing Scheme to ensure that the ordinary Ghanaian can afford the made in Ghana cars.
