GOMOA POTSIN, GOMOA TEKYEM THREATENED TO BOYCOTT ELECTION OVER DEPLORABLE ROAD – DKMNEWS.NET

Angry residents of Gomoa Potsin and Gomoa Tekyem in Gomoa East district of the Central Region are bitterly lamenting over deplorable road network in the area which has hindered daliy work activities.

According to some angry residents of , Gomoa Potsin is the district capital of Gomoa East and also a farming community with the population of over Four thousand but access to good road network is very poor from Potsin Junction to Tekyem to Agona Swedru .

In an exclusive interview by DKMNEWS.NET with some of the angry residents stated, pregnant women at times loose their babies while sick patients at times too loose their lives due to the deplorable state of their road network.

The angry residents furthermore stated that, their member of parliament for Gomoa Gomoa East and the DCE who government is in power has turned deaf ears to their grievances which they describe the situation as worrying and due to that, 2024 there will not worring themselves to vote unless the Road is constructed.

They angry residents have therefore charge their member of parliament for Gomoa East as a matter of urgency to come to their aid else they will vote massively against her during elections 2024.

Meanwhile the Odikro for Gomoa potsin ,Nana Tweiku Adasoa ix also express worries about current situation their road network which has hindered economics activities in the area.

He furthermore hinted that, pregnant women including sick people are losing their lives due to the deplorable nature of the road.

He therefore appealed to the member of parliament for Gomoa East Hon.Desmond Kwasi Peitoo to intervene to help curb this menance.
