Instead, he suggests implementing a 24-hour shift system for workers, especially in the context of industrialization. In an exclusive interview on TV3, Nana Kwame Bediako emphasized his intention to initiate an industrial revolution if he becomes president, aiming to address the high unemployment rate among the youth, which he estimated to be over 60 percent based on his recent countrywide tour.
Over 60 percent of the people are unemployed, and we want to start an industrial revolution in our region. This is the 16th industrial revolution, and we believe that the country’s resources should be shared fairly. Recently, I assured the Paramount Chief of Goaso Traditional Area, Nana Akwasi Bosompra I, that if I become president, I will bring more factories to the area. During my visit to the Ahafo Region, Nana Akwasi Bosompra I expressed confidence in me, even though he acknowledged that the upcoming general elections will be challenging. I shared with him my desire to fix the non-functioning factories in Ghana and Goaso, and he encouraged me to continue fighting for the betterment of our society.
