The Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai Municipal chief farmer Nana Gyebi has said he has received uncountable reports from cocoa farmers that most of the cocoa Purchasing Clarks (PCs) in the municipality have illegitimately adjusted their weighing scales to dupe farmers.
In an exclusive encounter with the media, he noted that some farmers came to his office to make such reports where he pledged to find any possible means to eradicate this canker because the complains are too much for him to bear.
He stated that the buyers (PCs) will definitely adjust the weighing scales but not to that higher extent of 7 to 10 kilograms, therefore they should put an immediate stop to such act because farming are suffering a lot in the cocoa farming business.
