According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, the police have the authority to arrest such individuals and bring them before the court. This initiative aims to promote transparency and accountability in financial matters.

The police spokesman said the country now had cases of kidnapping, ritual killings and internet fraud.
