While attending the premiere of “Marcello Mio,” Kelly Rowland was posing for photos when security guards rushed her up the stairs. A woman extended her arm to stop Kelly, who smiled at the security guard and gently touched the woman’s arm. Despite the woman guiding Rowland up the stairs, the singer offered a friendly finger wave, indicating the excessive force was unnecessary.
After many people online began to debate what caused the issue, Kelly Rowland is speaking out to let the world know what went down that day.
“The woman knows what happened. I know what happened. And, I have a boundary. And I stand by those boundaries and that is it,” Rowland told @apentertainment. “There were other women who attended that carpet, who did not quite look like me, and they didn’t get scolded or pushed off or told to get off. And, I stood my ground and she felt like she had to stand hers. But I stood my ground.”
