Man Dies by Suicide Jumping from Achimota Overhead Bridge

Man suicide – Achimota overhead bridge – suicide jump – A man has reportedly jumped to his death at Achimota in Accra.

According to a report by 3news.com, the man ended his life by jumping from the Achimota overhead bridge, an incident that shocked eyewitnesses.

“He was just running. No one really knew what was going on. Before we could even think to react, he had already jumped,” the report quoted an eyewitness as having said.

“It was too fast to stop him,” the eyewitness recounted.

According to the report, onlookers were left almost helpless due to the pace of the incident, as some could only approach the bleeding body below the bridge.

The police are said to have taken a while to arrive at the scene to remove the body of the deceased, whose demise had taken place right in front of the eyes of some onlookers.

The identity of the deceased or his motive has not been established yet, as the police are expected to commence an investigation into establishing the facts of the tragic incident.
