Mother of Nana Obeng Owusu Junior, a 19-year-old second-year law student at the University of Ghana recounts the sudden death of his son

Mother of Nana Owusu Obeng the level 200 law student of university of Ghana who met his untimely death at Ewin Polyclinic in the Cape Coast Metropolis, as a result of a medical negligence by a male health worker whose name is Michael that attended to the deceased, recounts the story of his son’s death.

Mrs. Nelly Mill in a report said his son tragic incident allegedly occurred within two minutes of him receiving an unidentified injection from a male nurse identified as Michael, at Ewim Polyclinic in the Cape Coast Metropolis.

According to reports, Nana, seeking treatment for asthmatic attacks, had a disagreement with the nurse. During his hospital visit, he was injected with an unknown substance in the absence of his mother, who had stepped out to buy medicine prescribed by the nurse, resulting in his demise in less than two minutes.

The hospital quickly embalmed his body and sent it to the morgue without seeking permission from any family member. They also allegedly refused to release Nana’s body.
Mrs. Mills pleads with the Ghana Health Service to launch an investigation into this and ensure that justice is served.
