The Obuasi district manager of Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) Mr Edwin H Ofori has expressed his disactisfaction over 2023 car registration in the area as compare to 2022

Comparing year 2022 car registration exercise to the media, he revealed that last year by time Obuasi DVLA Office registered 600 Vehicles but this year they are now hitting to 500 Vehicles which means the number of ca registration has been drop .

He said so many factors contributed to this year’s car registrations such as economic cris resulted number of car registration.

Speaking to the media in an interview at his Office Mr Edwin H Ofori cautioned the general public especially drivers to desist from engaging middle men who are popularly known as ‘Goro boys’ in the acquisition of driving license.

The authority has pledged to help eliminate indiscipline on the road hence warning drivers to abstain from acquiring discounted and fictitious vehicle documents from unauthorized people.

Moreover, Mr Edwin H Ofori urged Ghanaians especially passengers to stop unecessary pressure on drivers which sometimes leads to accident on our roads.
