Brodi is a farming community in the Tain District of the Bono Region.
Seventh Day Adventist JHS and Basic school has been closed down as students , parents and teachers are very worried over the strange ritual happenings in the school last Sunday.
Acting Kontihene, Abusuapanin Kwadwo Seth in an interview with DKMNEWS.NET stated that, he was informed about the strange issue by some residents and staff of the school.
Mr. Kofi alleged suspect in the community is subjected to performed his rituals in the school that includes items like : dead frog, snail, cowries, cola nut and live chicken and on the other hand another items were found on the way to the public toilet with the SDA school uniform material with dead mouse and a bone which they believe the suspect of him is to collapse the school because it is something he does always.
According Abusuapanin Kwadwo Seth, based on the current happening teachers as well as parents said they will not allow their wards to continue schooling there since they don’t know the exact reason to this rituals.
“The alleged suspect has refused to show up before we the Chief and elders , and therefore they’ve insisted he said he will not stop his act claiming Brodi community belongs to him and can do whatever he wants without any fear” said Nana.
Mr Effah Gyimah Frederick Headmaster of the school said a lot of parents were afraid when they heard about what has happened in the school , but authorities called for an emergency PTA meeting to advise parents not to change their mindset of letting their wards to study there .
