Frustrated with terrible road conditions in Suaman District, in the Western North Region, the Dadieso pragya riders association has donated materials to a man believe in his 40s to patch up potholes on one section of a road linked from Sui-Aboi, a suburb of Dadieso.
According to Mr. Francis Yeboah, the Public Relations Officer for the association, says the donation was part of the rider’s intention to assist the man who has more of kindness to repair the potholes on the Dadieso – Sui-Aboi road.
The Association, according to the PRO, have asked the district’s public works department to look into the matter and to repair the road, but their claims have been waiting in vain.
“The department officials tells us that work is underway and that, action will be taken, but why is it taken them so long?” he quizzed.
For the past couple of days, Mr. Mathew Seglah has been out with his cutlass and a head pan moving gravels and filling from ditches to patch up potholes along the Sui-Aboi road.
Some of the pragya riders who had testified the situation of the road reiterated that some of the holes were quite deep, hence their joyful appreciation to Mr. Seglah who is filling the holes.
Some of the items donated to the patcher were shovels, pickaxe, head pan, cutlass, etc. including an undisclosed amount of money.
Mr. Mathew, who is filling the potholes thanked the association for their kind gesture and asked the authorities to be quick to address the challenges on their roads.
