Controversial and loud-mouthed Ghanaian artiste Shatta Wale has stated emphatically that some celebrities and politicians are into the smuggling of cocaine.
According to him, the Kotoka International Airport is the main exit and entry point for the illicit product, which the authorities are aware of.
Ranting on social media and cautioning the public against mentioning him as a prime suspect in the Hajia 4 Real romance scam, Shatta Wale did not only go hard on his critics but also exposed the big men in the drug business.
He stressed his disgust at the fact that people do not appreciate his hard work but casually perceive and believe that he makes his money illegally.
“What do I need fraud for? Don’t you see the hard work I put in? Don’t you see I’m in my studio?” Shatta Wale rhetorically stated this to dispel claims that he belongs to a cartel of money launderers.
He angrily added that he observed that his name had been suggested to the FBI together with Medikal, Fella Makafui, and Salma Mumin for interrogation because they were in the circle of the embattled Hajia 4 Real.
“To those who suggested that I, Medikal, Fella, and Salma Mumin be arrested by the FBI, your mother! Tell them their mother!” Shatta Wale blurted.
While Shatta Wale went on to clear his name and categorically clear his leg as a person of no interest to the FBI, he veered off by stating that several others behind the scenes are into the same business venture Hajia 4Real has been accused of.
The SM President intimated that while the public is oblivious to the clandestine activities in high places, most celebrities and politicians connive and collide with airport authorities to ship out cocaine and other drugs regularly.
While he did not mention specific names, Shatta Wale was confident about his intel, which shed light on how, according to him, many prominent people in the country have turned the KIA into a major drug transit route.
“Go to the airport and ask about the number of celebrities who ship out cocaine. The airport authorities know this and just monitor them. How much will cocaine fetch me? I eat bigger money, and this would never get involved in the shipping of cocaine; it’s small,” Shatta Wale burst out.
Is Shatta Wale a snitch? It looks like whenever he is placed under undue pressure, he folds and succumbs quite easily.
Being attached to the whole Hajia 4 Real debacle is eating him so much that he desperately wants to disentangle himself from all the strings.
This is why his recent rant exposes his hidden fears, apprehensions, and anxieties.
