Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai Constituency Communications team member of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Kumi Frederick has insinuated that current abnormal price hikes of goods in the country should partly be blamed on business men, women (traders)

Speaking in an interview with the media, cited some instances of cassava, plantain, pear, maize which are not bought with dollars or imported but sellers intentionally inflate the prices of such foodstuffs and turn to blame the government for current economic hardship.

He urged them to quit such unlawful behaviour of making huge profit and exhibit Christlike attitude and be their neighbours keeper in this hard times.

He thereby advice Ghanaians most especially traders to render a good services to their customers , he stated although there’s an economic hardship so they shouldn’t take that as a business to inflate prices of goods.
