This project follows Snoop’s debut solo album, Doggystyle from 1993. The duo shared details about the album while they were in Montreal on tour with Snoop Dogg.

Kurupt mentioned that after their time in Canada, Snoop Dogg has plans for an American tour to promote their latest album, W.A.W.G. (We All We Got), and to provide a great show with good music. Additionally, Snoop Dogg will be heading to France for the Olympics.

Kurupt also shared that Snoop Dogg has a new album coming out in July, titled Missionary, entirely produced by Dr. Dre. This album follows Snoop’s debut album, Doggystyle, and Kurupt humorously mentioned the transition from Doggystyle to Missionary as Snoop’s musical journey.

Missionary may be nearly complete and on its way, but Snoop Dogg still has more work ahead. As Kurupt mentioned, Snoop Dogg is scheduled to bring his unique sense of humor to the 2024 Paris Olympics as a commentator for NBCUniversal.

His role follows his viral success during the Tokyo Olympics, where his funny commentary, especially on equestrian events, received millions of views. In Paris, Snoop will provide on-the-ground reporting from various events and engage with athletes, adding his relaxed and entertaining style to the coverage.

Snoop expressed excitement about being part of the Olympics, celebrating athletes’ skills and dedication while promising to “bring that Snoop style to the mix.” The announcement of Snoop’s new role was made during an interview with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and further detailed in a press conference. Snoop, known for his vibrant personality and love for sports, vowed to make the coverage unforgettable with his commentary, highlighting memorable moments and engaging with fans worldwide. He even mentioned looking forward to meeting Mopsie, the viral “Rave Horse” from the Tokyo Olympics.
