Tory Lanez reportedly says Drake is winning battle Against Kendrick Lamar

The Drake and Kendrick Lamar rap battle has been the talk of the town for weeks now. It got even more intense over the weekend when both rappers released diss tracks from May 3 to May 6. But it seems like things have settled down for now.

On May 9, The Joe Budden Podcast aired episode #723, where they discussed the epic rap battle that even caught President Joe Biden’s attention. During the show, Joe Budden shared that he had a phone conversation with Tory Lanez, who offered his thoughts on the battle while behind bars.

“He picks Drake in the battle,” Joe revealed at the 12:30 mark of the video below. “Now, I’m in a strip club bathroom while he’s telling me all the ways of why Drake won. But I don’t think he heard the Kendrick s**t. But then the jail operator came on and he got flustered.”

 

In the 2010s, Drake and Tory Lanez had a bit of a rivalry going on. Back in 2010, Tory offered Drake $10,000 if he listened to his music and didn’t like it, but Drake didn’t pay much attention. Then, a few years later, Tory started taking shots at Drake, and Drake fired back with tracks like “Summer Sixteen,” “Blow,” and “Round Here.” Tory responded in kind. It was quite the back-and-forth between the two Canadian artists.
