Residents of the Offinso South in the Ashanti Region laments bitterly over their poor roads network , which is a big hurdle for them.
The situation is greatly affecting the residents leading to the continued high post harvest losses, charging of exorbitant transport fares and decline in healthcare deliveries.
The residents lamented that they go through a lot of difficulties getting their farm produce to the market centers and sick ones to the nearby government Hospital for medical attention.
Hon Vincent Asare Bediako, NDC aspirant commenting on the issue at NDC Program at offinso said, the Npp government have disappointed the people of Offinso south, Despite persistent appeals to government and the Assembly on the urgent need to provide basic amenities, nothing has been done to alleviate our plight in the area.
He lamented that, the present government and the assembly had not carried out any developmental projects in the area.
