WE NEED TEACHERS QUATERS AT ADEDAASE TO AID QUALITY EDUCATION.

Headmaster of Adedaase Basic School, Mr. Ebenezer Oteng and Assembly member for Adedaase Electoral area has stressed and attributed the inavailability of qualified teachers posted at Adedaase basic school over lack of teachers quarters.

According to him most teaches posted to the community has refuce the posting the town due to lack of accommodation and has appealed to the Government to construct for the school teachers quarters to enable teachers to accept posting to the community.

Hon Ebenezer Oteng explained that though, “there is a public school built by the government but because of lack of qualified teachers to teach the children, the school has been in shortage of teachers since there is no quarters for the teachers and this has been their major challenge.

In interaction with DKMNEWS.NET , during a one week community engagement and tour with Honourable Ansu Kumi, the residents disclosed that, the school has employed SHS leavers to teach the children since none of teachers posted there by the government has refused posting to the town because of accommodation issues.

He said, not only Adedaase community but rather other communities around are also facing the same challenges and called on the Sunyani Municipal Education Directorate as a matter of urgency to come to their aid to help post qualified teachers to the town and provide them with bungalows for the teachers.
