Chief of Nzema Nkwanta a community in the Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai Municipality Nana Kwabena Duku laments over poor study structure where the pupils are forced to vacate classrooms during downpour.
Speaking with DKMNEWS.NET, he called on Government and Non-governmental organizations to as a matter of urgency come to their aid because they’re in dire need of JHS block.
Nana indicated that his outfit have severally channelled their plight to the District Assembly, Education Directorate but there’s no positive response.
Nana Kwabena Duku further bewailed of their toilet facility which he said is nothing to write home about adding that to build a normal one has even been a problem as people struggle with them over lands for construction of toilet so they have earmarked a place for a modern KVIP which can last for years so they need support.
Touching on electricity, he identified that they need extension poles to extend power to other areas as the community is growing.
He said ECG conducted a survey for the extension some time ago and since that time the community have not gotten any feedback till now.
